This allows the user to break down the properties according to when they are available from. This section is very useful for students who are starting courses in a second semester i.e. a January / February and wish to view only those properties that are available from then and not those from the following academic years first semester i.e. properties available from a May, June, July, August, September and October. Please note that if you are starting in a September there may well be suitable properties available before then ready for the following September. It must also be noted that a property that is available from, for example, June ready for the following September / October 's academic start date may not necessarily incur a rent over the summer. Some do, some don't and some require a proportion of the full rent. Some you may be able to "sign up" for as early as the preceding January to the September and not move in until then and not pay any rent until you move in. Others you may have to take in the summer and be expected to pay some sort of rent. It generally depends on the area and the demand for properties. In all cases you need to clarify it with the landlord / agent or University. In order not to miss any properties you may wish to leave the criterion as its default - "any date". |
